Inauguration Station San Nicolas

Finally after a long time waiting for the finalization, the Arubus San Nicolas Bus station is inaugurated on Dec 19, 2007. Present among guests were Mr. Nelson Oduber (Prime Minister), Mr. Edison Briesen (Minister Tourism & Transportation), members of the Aruban Parliament, Arubus Board of Directors, Mr. Franky Kuiperi (Director), Executives of Valero, Executives of Thiel Corporation, Aruban Press members, staff and employees of Arubus. Entertainment was held by "Grupo Betico" with it's traditional Aruban Christmas music and "Le Groove Band" with it's popular carnival music.

New Bus Station San Nicolas

After many years of planning, finally the construction of a bus station for the San Nicolas district is in progress. Thanks to cooperation of the Valero Refinery Aruba, that the terrain for the new bus station was made available to the government of Aruba, which in turn was set to the disposition of Arubus N.V.

The inauguration of this project was launched on July 30th, 2004. Ministers, Members of the Aruban Parliament, Executives of Valero, Executives of Thiel Corporation, Members of San Nicolas Business Association, Press members and Staff & Employees of Arubus N.V. were amongst the invited guests.
